Statement of Faith

The Way, Truth and Life is an elder led body of Bible believers desiring to know more of the Lord Jesus Christ and to bring others into an eternal relationship with Him. Putting a high emphasis on the teaching of God’s Word, we prefer to study the Scriptures verse by verse, chapter by chapter and book by book.

We believe that men, divinely inspired wrote the complete Bible. We believe the Bible is inerrant in its original form, and is our final authority on earth.
The One eternal Triune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, each with distinct personal attributes, without division of nature, essence, will or being.

We believe Scripture teaches that salvation comes through faith in Jesus alone, apart from works. We are saved by His efficacious death on the cross. We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born in His humanity of a virgin by the Holy Spirit.
Jesus died for our sins on the cross according to Scripture, was buried, and rose again on the third day, according to Scripture.
